From Kienbichl, you get to Gasthaus Aschenbrenner via a forest road. From there a detour takes you to a lovely viewing point, from where you don’t just get to see the Inn Valley, but also the three thousand metre mountains in the Venediger mountain range. Continue via the panoramic path to Brentenjoch and via the forest path to Kaindl hut on the Steinberg. Return to the Brentenjoch either via the chairlift at the Wilder Kaiser or on foot to Dux into the valley.
